Through this partnership, K12 SIX member districts receive proactive monthly reports from HackNotice that highlight vendors with data breaches and/or significant exposure on the dark web. These reports focus on leaked credentials and trafficked data that, if left unaddressed, can be used to impersonate staff, gain unauthorized access, or launch targeted phishing campaigns.

A normalized score that reflects the total volume of credential exposure tied to a vendor’s domain. It helps flag vendors with high-risk profiles—not based on internal flaws, but on external exposure.

Monthly Reporting

Delivered directly to K12 SIX with actionable insights for member review, including new and historical data breaches & ransomware attacks that have occurred to monitored vendors. 

Note: The Threat Factor Rating does not indicate whether a vendor has been breached, nor does it highlight their internal security posture. The Threat Factor Rating quantifies dark web exposure levels tied to vendors, which increases the likelihood of exploitation due to attack data being available to threat actors — but does not imply blame or internal failure.
