Part of the IT group specializing in services to VSEs and SMEs was paralyzed, including the telephony of some of its 250 agencies in France, by a cyberattack that occurred during the weekend of April 10.

In an email to the editor, In Extenso’s communications director confirms that the company has suffered a cyberattack conducted with ransomware. And to specify that no data leak was observed. She explains that, “as a security measure, and in order to limit the spread of the virus, In Extenso’s server and applications were immediately shut down by our Information Systems Department and cybersecurity experts” . She adds that “all of our employees, customers and partners have been informed of the situation” and that a dedicated hotline has been set up to answer any questions they may have.

The communication director of In Extenso also ensures that “thanks to the mobilization of our IT teams, the restart of our applications has already started”, but specifies, however, that she is not able at this stage to specify a date for restoration of all of the company’s tools.
